Dr. Vance Ankrum - Optometrist / Managing Partner

Dr. Vance Ankrum is a graduate of South Dakota State University, earning his Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University. He is a native of Highmore, South Dakota. Dr. Ankrum is a member of the South Dakota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

A passion for treating eye problems and flying airplanes keeps Dr.Vance Ankrum soaring through life. To Dr. Vance Ankrum, working with eye diseases is one of the things he enjoys most about his job. Dr. Ankrum is one of the managing partners in Dakota Vision Center in Sioux Falls, SD. He is trained to identify and manage a wide variety of eye diseases, to provide contact lens services, and to provide general eye health care.

Dr. Ankrum was born in Pierre and raised on a farm near Highmore, SD.  He and his wife, Tammie, have 2 daughters, Alexa and Alivia.
